Automation Software for IIT Guwahati (R&D)

Aim

To automate the various processes starting from Project Selection to Project Closure and Final Accounting, for Research and Development at IIT Guwahati.

Summary

The design process consisted of collecting data, information architecture, designing interfaces and components and focused on issues such as clarity, consistency, navigation, and error minimization. The front end was in HTML, back end in PHP and the DBMS used was MySQL.

My Role (What did I do, learn)

I was responsible (part of the team) for conducting the interviews at the R&D department, information artchitecture, developing wireframes, designing interfaces and HTML pages.
